PECI Awarded Major Contracts in Diverse US Regions

PECI has announced new contracts for three major energy efficiency programs across the country. The projects will include a grocery-store retrocommissioning program in the Midwest, and data center projects for utilities in both the Northeast and California.

PECI was established by the city of Portland, OR, in 1979 as Portland Energy Conservation, Inc. In 1984 it became a private nonprofit entity and went on to launch its first commercial energy efficiency program in 1990 and its first residential program in 1995. PECI Implements Energy Efficiency Programs in the Northeast, Midwest and California

PECI has secured several contracts in the Northeast, Midwest and California to design and manage energy efficiency programs.

PECI is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing energy efficiency and creating a sustainable energy economy.

For one of its contracts, PECI will complete a two-year grocery retrocommissioning program for a large Midwest utility. This program is designed to create persistent energy savings and demonstrate the benefits of retrocommissioning in regional and national grocery stores.
