Companies not complying with Philadelphia’s new energy reporting rules
Philadelphia Business Journal, November 8, 2013The city’s new Benchmarking Ordinance requires any commercial building owner or manager in Philadelphia with an indoor floor space of 50,000 square feet or more to submit energy and space usage information for their building.
Due to delays caused by the government shutdown, the compliance deadline has been postponed to November 25th. Good thing, since only 19 percent of Philadelphia’s big buildings have submitted their data since the law was implemented in July, according to this article Technical.ly Philly.
