GE’s LED Lighting for Natural Grocers
Zacks, March 5, 2014In order to reduce energy bills, GE Lighting, a part of General Electric Company (GE – Analyst Report), recently installed its Albeo linear lighting fixtures and LED (Light Emitting Diode) high bay lights at the distribution center and new grocery stores of Natural Grocers. Food and supplement chain Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage replaced the entire lighting system at their distribution center in Golden, Colorado and various retail stores with these new LED lighting systems.
General Electric’s Albeo linear lighting fixtures and LED high bay lighting fixtures are much more competitive than conventional light sources such as metal halides which have been in use. These products offer the plug-and-play feature that eases out the electrical needs, help to reduce contractor labor costs and speed up the overall lighting system installation. The installation included the flexible Albeo ALC3-Series LED lighting fixtures which can be installed in various layouts.
